The long Sunday table

We arrived in Vegueta twenty-five years ago with one suitcase, nonna's recipe and the stubborn belief that a good dinner is never rushed. We built the trattoria under arches that remind us of Florence, knead the pasta each morning and light the candles before the first guest walks in. We don't serve customers. We welcome people celebrating something, even if that something is simply one more night together. That, to us, is la dolce vita.
